What to Expect
Parking Parking is available behind the church, as well as across the street, where we have an agreement with the Northshore Mall to use their Macy's lot on Sunday mornings.
Arriving Our Sunday service starts at 10 a.m. Most people dress casually and comfortably. When you arrive, one of our greeters will welcome you inside the front entry and provide you with an informational packet about our church. Both adults and children start off in the Sanctuary. Then, around 10:15, children go downstairs to their classes.
Worship Our worship time consists of lively music, usually with piano and guitars, which helps us focus our hearts on God. Everyone worships God in his or her own way. Some raise their hands, others clap along, some stand, some sit.
Sunday School After the worship time and announcements, the kids head off to their Sunday School classes. Most parents walk younger kids downstairs so they can help get the kids settled, then they return for the rest of the service. For toddlers, we have a special room staffed by volunteers and equipped with lots of toys, books, and games. If you have an infant who requires changing or feeding, you're welcome to use the toddler room.
The Message (sermon) Each Sunday you will hear a relevant, straightforward message based on the Bible. These messages challenge us to consider new ways that we can understand God and apply his principles in our lives so that we can grow in our relationship with him.
Communion Once a month we have communion together. Communion is a time to remember what Jesus has done for us. The juice and bread are offered to anyone who understands this sacrifice, regardless of whether they are members.
After the Service Don't forget to pick up your kids! Then join us for a time of coffee and refreshments in the hall below the Sanctuary.
