About Us

Who We Are
We are a congregational church in the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference (4Cs). Our church has a long and rich history dating back to 1711. But we don't rest on the works of our forefather; rather, we look forward to worshipping and serving in new and challenging ways that bring the Christian faith to life in our generation.

What We Believe
At South Church our purpose is to help one another grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Our statement of faith reflects our deep commitment to the Word of God, while our Covenant ties us together in this local assembly.

How We Work
As a congregational church, we are soley responsible for the ongoing business of this local body of believers. At our annual meeting in March, we approve the annual budget and elect members to serve on various ministries.

A native of Akron, Ohio, LouAnn is teaching us how to truly worship God. This gifted minister is also a world traveler, having journeyed to Cambodia and India a number of times.		 Nancy King
